In the earliest years of Chundikuli’s existence, the admission of younger children brought about the formation of a Lower School. This developed greatly when in May 1936, Miss Kelk, a Froebel trained teacher, came to take charge of the Lower School. She inculcated a love for music among the little ones.
The 2nd standard Percussion Band, group singing performances by the Lower school at the Prize Giving testified to the love of music of the Chundikuli girls at that young age.
