Concert 2023
The present nursery was started in 2013 and now it has a total number of 42 kids with 22 in the 3+ class and 20 in the 4+ class. The classes are conducted in the bilingual medium with more focus on English.
It was in 1911, that a real nursery was first started. It was then referred to as the Kindergarten. Miss Butler, a Froebel trained teacher from England was the one responsible for training teachers on the methods of teaching Kindergarten children. In the early days, children learned English songs, games and poetry in addition to the usual subjects.
One of the most satisfying and joyous facts about Chundikuli is its love of music. It is a tradition that has been handed down. Children are given a good foundation to appreciation of music through their singing, rhythmic expression and percussion band periods.
