With grateful thanks to the generosity of all donors, we have recently completed the following projects in 2019/2020:
Refurbishment of the Chemistry laboratory
Laboratory instruction is an integral part of science education, and a well-equipped laboratory is of paramount importance for the learning/ teaching of science subjects. The chemistry laboratory of the school which had not been renovated for a considerable period of time were refurbished recently and upgraded with the necessary material and technology. A big thank you to all the donors who donated towards this worthy cause.
Smart Classrooms
In order to provide for the numerous advantages offered by new technology, the available space above the pavilion were converted into 3 classrooms in which three smart boards were installed for the use of Grades 6-11.
Step Forward - Programme for Wellbeing
Celebrating 125 Years with the Chundikuli Mouse
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who generously supported us by purchasing the special edition Chundikuli Mouse. Through your remarkable contributions, we were able to raise almost LKR 1 million, which will tremendously benefit our wellbeing programme.
We would particularly like to express our deep appreciation to our key donor, who wishes to remain anonymous. Their significant seed funding played a crucial role in making this initiative a reality. We are truly grateful for their unwavering support, which has paved the way for our success.
Furthermore, we are delighted to acknowledge the collaboration with Barefoot Ceylon in designing and producing this exclusive 125th year commemorative collectable. Their commitment to excellence and attention to detail ensured that each Chundikuli Mouse is not only a tribute to our school's rich history but also a remarkable work of art.
Every purchase of the Chundikuli Mouse not only served as a symbol of pride for our alma mater but also contributed to the advancement of our ongoing project.
As we go beyond 125 years of our beloved institution, we look forward to continuing our journey, empowered by the incredible support and commitment we have received. Together, we will strive to create a brighter future for the generations to come.
