Chundikuli, the First Jaffna Guide Company, will celebrate its centenary this year. Started in 1921, we have the proud heritage of being the pioneers of Guiding in Jaffna.
Girls are encouraged to join the Guide Movement as it enriches one’s character and personality with values of comradeship and co-operation. Students mingle freely and share, support and care for each other, irrespective of class and creed. They learn to work as a team towards the fulfilment of their three-fold promise. They find hiking, rallies, camps and healthy competition for badges, thrilling and satisfying. In the process they gain much knowledge and are moulded to be more responsible individuals.

Little Friends
The motto of Little Friends is ‘to help others and make them happy’. Thy are also trained to have a high sense of responsibility and to do their duty towards their religion and country. They are between the ages of 7 and 11. On reaching 12, they fly up to join the Girl Guides much to their joy and satisfaction.
